Romans 10
Paul is issuing a warning here to Gentile Christians who have become "proud" of their Christianity and looked down on Jewish Christians. Paul really puts the brakes on that, because without God's chosen people and His work among them, Christianity would not be available. V. 9-10 were really familiar to me, like they are to some of you, but they really hit me today and I had this thought, "is when I accepted Christ that last time I confessed Him?" There is a time for all Christians that make the initial confession but then we are committing to always confess Him our mouth and believe in our heart.
So some questions:
Are we guilty of being arrogant about being Christians?
What do we do?
There were huge differences between the Jews and Gentiles, and some of each side thought the other did not deserve Christ.
Who do you for whatever reason think does not deserve the Gospel?
How can we be "obstinate (stubborn) people" sometimes?
Call upon the name of the Lord today and...
Go Live
