There are many things to discuss about this chapter and some inconsequential but interesting questions, such as: Where did Jesus get the fish that were already on the fire? and Where were the other disciples?

The reinstatement of Peter is a powerful example of Christ's forgiveness and the need for real repentence, in Peter's case stop feeling down and go serve Christ.

• What do you need to turn from and turn to Christ?

Peter's question about John at the end also brings some good questions.

• How do we compare our lives to other Christians?
• How does this hurt our focus on God's call on our lives?
