Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus reminds us that a relationship with Christ is physical in that we experience it in our bodies and live it out in our daily lives, yet it is ultimately a spiritual act and deeply spiritual reality. Many ancient philosophies that are still around in different forms today tried to separate the physical and the spiritual but in Christ our physical bodies, our physical reality is changed by the power and work of the Spirit. Jesus wants us to understand that the key to life is not in what we can see and touch but the key to life is allowing His Spirit to overtake us and form us into the Children of God.
V. 30 is key in understanding how we will see Christ move in our homes, our schools, our friends, and our churches. We must be willing to lose the attention, the applause, and the focus and give others the opportunity to "fix their eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith"(Hebrews 12:2) I am reminded again of a song from an obscure youth musical I did when I was a teenager, "I've gotta point you to Jesus or a may as a well sit down, you know He's the one who frees us not the glitter of an earthly crown, I don't need another idol I've got enough inside me now, I've gotta point you to Jesus or I may as well sit down." Our lives either point to us, merely physical what you can see and touch which leads to self centeredness and self gratification, or they point beyond us to the life changing power of the Spirit.

This chapter has so many good verses in it. Verse 3 is very important in the life of Christians because it shows us direction of what we must actually do with our lives first, which is to give our lives over so we can be born again. It says so much because when we are born again all the sin that we were born with is just taken away, we are clean again, clean enough to see the kingdom of God. Verse 17 is also powerful in my opinion. So many times I hear people saying that they are being punished all the time because they are “not good enough” but that is totally not the truth. This verse shows Jesus was put on the Earth to make us clean again, to save us so that we can be apart of the kingdom of God. It’s comforting knowing that everything that is happening is not to condemn us but Jesus is here to save us and make us born again. Verse 35 builds trust in my opinion. It shows us that we have no reason to doubt Jesus because God himself put everything in the hands of Jesus. If God can do this and trust that all will be well, then why shouldn’t we be able to talk to Jesus about our smallest and largest problems and know that they are in the right hands? Verse 36 is pretty much where we must come to an important decision. Will we believe in Jesus? Clearly we can see that without believing in Jesus we have nothing, we have a life filled with emptiness and God’s wrath will stay upon us. I know that I will have the gift of eternal life because I do believe in Jesus and I love him with every ounce of my being. I just pray that everyone else will make the right decision.

I had a nice post regarding John 3:16 and how important the belief part is and how it doesn't stop there, but continues with our daily walk with Him, but I clicked the wrong thing and lost it, so...
Let's walk with the Lord daily!
